Women of WiN

Carrie Ng

Carrie Ng
Title: Lean Advisor
Company: Bruce Power

Carrie Ng currently works as a Lean Advisor at Bruce Power. Her position entails leading projects that will continuously improve processes. Carrie has always been a people person and loves helping others. Bruce Power has allowed her to do just that and flourish.

She believes her most rewarding project to date has been to lead a group of 30 individuals to develop and run seven different Human Performance Simulators – representing various parts of the business.

Carrie attended the University of Waterloo and University of Nottingham where she obtained Kinesiology and Human Factors degrees. Carrie started her career with Bruce Power as an Ergonomist in the safety department. She became involved in various committees and rotational opportunities to gain hands-on experience in different areas within the organization.

The opportunity to network inspired Carrie to get involved with WiN and being able to promote nuclear brings her personal satisfaction. WiN has helped Carrie develop as a professional and provided her with the opportunity to serve on the WiN-Canada Board.

Carrie’s advice for today’s youth, “get involved, volunteer for everything and try new things!”

As created May 15, 2012.
